MARIUS MOLDVAER

In 2021 during the Covid pandemic, I had the pleasure of interviewing Jenny Kinge on her curatorial effort at Norges Handelshøyskole in Bergen on assignment from KORO (Norway´s national body responsible for curating, producing and activating art in public space). We discussed the artworks connection to place, history and social spaces, and in addition to the acquirements of new works, also how the existing works could be preserved and included into the larger collection of public art at the school.

Først og fremst har det vært viktig å synliggjøre kunstnerne bak verkene og informere om hvilken teknikk de jobbet med, og når verket ble laget. Vi har droppet supplerende formidlingstekster og heller laget nye, solide messingskilter som plukker opp detaljer fra 60-tallsinteriøret. Skiltene understreker verkenes felles tilhørighet til hverandre og bygget.
